HASS stands for the College of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences. It is formed in 2006 by bringing together three Schools, namely, the School of Art, Design and Media; School of Humanities and Social Sciences; and Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.

The College, comprising the School of Art, Design and Media, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, seeks to offer a balance of breadth and depth of learning and fosters a culture of excellence and creativity that will stand our students in good stead long after they graduate.

HASS offers a new curriculum of greater breadth and depth that includes:

	Double Majors, General Education, Interdisciplinary Minors, Electives
	Writing and Communication
	Art and culture

Furthermore, HASS offers four-year direct honours programmes. For students interested to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree, we offer direct entry to your major. We equip our students with practical and adaptable skills, and we believe in a student-centered education

At our College, we believe in self-directed and interactive learning that would equip our students with the habit of life-long learning. Graduates from the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) can look forward to rewarding careers in digital animation, digital filmmaking, photography and digital imaging, interactive media, product design and visual communication.

Graduates from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) are ready for a wide variety of careers in banking, the civil service, education, social work, journalism, advertising, publishing, human resources, management, public administration, arts administration and other creative industries.

Graduates from the Wee Kim Wee School of Information and Communication (WKWSCI) are sought after by the media giants in Singapore and abroad in industries such as journalism, broadcast and cinema studies, advertising, publishing, human resources management, public administration, arts administration, and creative industries.

School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) - Singapore's only comprehensive professional art school to offer degree courses in art, design and interactive digital media. It aims to empower artistic talents with the knowledge and tools to explore, experiment and create. 2 Centres

Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) - a first-class academic institution that provides education and training for Chinese officials. NCPA offers Master of Public Administration and Master of Science in Managerial Economics in Chinese targeted at senior officials from China. The "Mayors' Class", a name coined by the media for classes offered by NCPA, now has close to 1,000 MPA and MME graduates, and some 10,000 from short-term executive programmes. Centre for Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) - CLASS was established in 2006 under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and restructured in 2010 into the research hub of the College, CLASS seeks to facilitate, coordinate and encourage interdisciplinary research within and beyond the College. The Centre is a member of the Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes, at the John Hope Franklin Humanities Institute at Duke University. See: class.cohass.ntu.edu.sg
