International Summer School in China

The NTU International Summer School is in its seventh run this year.

The Programme is open to all NTU students in your first, second or third year, especially those with an interest in Asian studies and China. This is a five-week Summer Programme, including a one-week study tour, for select students from NTU, Chinese partner universities, and international partner universities. This year, the Programme will be based in Tianjin, China, and run from 24 June to 28 July 2018.

You will take two credit-bearing and graded courses that are interdisciplinary in nature. Three courses will be offered, including a course each in The Great Ideas, Cultural Encounters and Societies in Comparative Perspective. The Academic Units (AUs) from these courses will go towards fulfilling your GER-PE (Art, Humanities and Social Sciences / Liberal Arts and / or Science, Technology and Society) or Unrestricted Elective requirements. The courses will be taught jointly by NTU faculty and faculty from partner universities. 
Additional enrichment courses in Chinese culture will be made available to interested students.
We are able to grant a limited number of scholarships of S$4,000 to cover your tuition fees, study tour and accommodation. It is not payable in cash and covers neither transportation nor living expenses.
