Supporting the development of a vibrant cultural life in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (HASS)
HASS Student Cultural Fund is a new student fund designed to offer some financial support to the creation of a richer cultural environment in the College, which may include music evenings, poetry readings, dramatic performances, film screenings, dance performances, and cultural workshops, among others. All cultural events, in the broadest sense, that are open to all students of HASS, will be considered.
Who Can Apply?
All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students of the three schools (ADM, HSS, WKWSCI) and constituents (CCA and NCPA) of HASS, either via the various student clubs that are attached to the schools or simply as interested groups of students who have an interesting proposal.
What does the fund cover?
Refreshments, costs incurred by student (licensing costs for films, equipment, technical support etc.) for activities that will be held on campus. The Fund aims to make campus life, especially life in ADM, HSS and WKWSCI, more exciting. The normal range of funding is between S$500 and S$2,000. Special or sequential events that require more funding will be considered on a case by case basis.
