Graduation Project (FYP)

 
The Graduation Project/FYP is undertaken during a student’s final year, over two semesters. Students of the Double Major Programme may select one or two FYP(s) Graduation Project/FYP is undertaken during a student’s final year, over two semesters. Students of the Double Major Programme may select one or two FYP(s) If they select just one, they have to read two 4000-level courses to fulfill the 8AUs requirement of the other discipline.
 
To obtain a highest distinction or distinction honours degree, students must read and complete their graduation projects.
 
Students who are planning to go for exchange or semester leave are not allowed to register for Graduation Project/FYP.
 
Eligibility
 
To commence the FYP a student must be of fourth-year standing and have a CPGA of 3.75 at the start of the relevant semester. If the student’s CGPA is above 3.90, the FYP is compulsory for the honours degree; They can select one or two FYPs. If they select just one, they have to read two 4000-level courses to fulfill the 8AUs requirement of the other discipline.
 
Students with CGPA between 3.75 to 3.89 will be allowed to opt-in to do Graduation Project/FYP at the discretion of the Programme.
 
Students with CGPAs below 3.75 must read an additional two 4000-level modules in lieu of the 8 AUs allotted for the FYP of each major.
