The Struggle Against Neoliberal Austerity and the Survival of the European Project
The Struggle Against Neoliberal Austerity and the Survival of the European Project
NTU_PageContent
Timothy Misir’s (Policy & Programme Executive, EU Centre) working paper, The Struggle Against Neoliberal Austerity and the Survival of the European Project maps the protest movements against neoliberal austerity measures in the EU onto the current socio-economic context. He argues that the EU needs the broad support of its citizens now more than ever. In this regard, the current wave of social movements is valuable in providing new possibilities for debate and organization.
